BACKGROUND ART PRODUCTION

Created the final 2D background illustrations for 2 cuts.

For these 2 cuts, I handled the entire process myself, from creating the initial 3D base in Blender to drawing the final 2D cleanup.
MY ROLE & WORKFLOW OPTIMIZATION

Originally, each freelance background artist on the project did their own sketches and final cleanups.

Appointed as the dedicated 3D background layout artist by the Main Artist to speed up the overall production.

Enabled other artists to focus purely on 2D cleanup by mass-producing 3D bases, which successfully accelerated the team's entire workflow.
3D LAYOUT & ASSET CREATION FOR 31 CUTS

Following this workflow, I created 3D background layouts (bases) for 31 cuts using Blender.

High-Speed Production: Created 31 of the 3D background bases in just about 2.5 months (between September 19 and December 5, 2025).

Collaborative Workflow: The final 2D backgrounds were completed by 2D background artists doing final cleanup and painting over my 3D layouts to achieve the beautiful hand-drawn anime look.
