I created a new hero image for my website using Blender.

It features birds commonly seen in my neighborhood and my pet snake.

Creatures featured:

Varied Tit (Sittiparus varius)
Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker (Yungipicus kizuki)
Oriental Turtle Dove (Streptopelia orientalis)
California Kingsnake (Lampropeltis californiae)

The items on the desk are drawings and sketches I made during my university years:

A colored pencil illustration of a Japanese green pheasant and a varied tit (originally exhibited as a life-sized bird explanation).
A horse sketch and a stippling drawing of a raccoon skull, both done for class.

For the texturing process, I did UV unwrapping, separated the colors using Paint Texture to export them, and then cleanly redrew them in CLIP STUDIO PAINT to use as textures in Blender.

This is the work-in-progress sequence showing images from the production process.
I initially worked in Cycles, but since Blender kept crashing, I switched to Eevee.
I had never used Eevee before, so I had to quickly learn how to make it look beautiful.
